Bennett's Chirstmas Program
After The LIttle Gym with Carter we were off to Bennett's Christmas program at his pre-school. It was so cute! He is such a good singer and loves doing the actions that go with the song. I still can't believe that he is old enough to go to school, but it makes me happy to see how cute he is with his classmates. He loves school!
During the program all the dad's were invited to come up and given a red nose. The dad's sang Rudolph to the kids. Your a good sport Scott. Bennett loved it! Carter was surprisingly good during the program. It helped that Aunt Stephie was there to entertain him.

The Little Gym
Thursday was Carters last day at The Little Gym. He had fun playing peek-a-boo with his friend, and showing off all his new tricks. It was fun for us to see what a different experience The Little Gym was for Carter than it was for Bennett. Carter is definately more of a free spirit, and is just happy to run around.
Christmas Cards
Last week we attempted to get a picture for our Christmas cards this year. Needless to say, it did not go well. Bennett wanted the swing to go high and Carter did not. Carter wanted to eat the snow, (surprise, surprise) and Bennett wanted to throw snowballs at Carter. It wasn't long before they were both in tears and I was tired of yelling.
Merry Christmas to all!

Love you, Santa
I think it's safe to say that Carter is not to fond of Santa! We were at our church's Christmas breakfast and Santa showed up at the end. He wasn't the real Santa, but one of his helpers that happened to be the nursery leader at our church. When Bennett sat on his lap and started telling him what he wanted for Christmas, he stopped mid sentence and turned to me and said, "mom, this is not Santa. It's Roland!" Needless to say we had to explain to Bennett that Santa has to have helpers to be able to get everything done. Sorry to the other kids that were waiting in line.
Santa's Watching
Carter wanted to make it on Santa's nice list this year so he washed Bennett's shoes for him. What a sweet brother! Can you tell that he also was cleaning the floor for me as well?
To start the holiday season off right we participated in a Santa fun run in Ogden. It was required that everyone running dress up as Santa. It was a 5k and we ran the parade route for the Ogden City Parade of Lights. It was fun to see all the different Santa's running and it was the first race that our kids really loved! Every about 1/2 mile they had milk and cookies, which was the reason the boys were so happy. I think Bennett ate 8 cookies and probably a few of his brothers. Bennett's mission during the run was to find the "real" Santa.
After the run we stayed and watched the parade, which was short and sweet. The perfect length for kids out in the cold. All in all, it was great fun!

Happy Thanksgiving
Today we did our 3rd annual Cold Turkey run up City Creek. Scott pushed the boys, and they actually didn't cry most of the time this year. Scott asked Bennett if he wanted to run next year, he is not interested! Besides being a little cold it was a good run. I beat my time from last year, even with a bad back. This is the second year we have worn the turkey hats, which are a enjoyed by the other runners. Some people even want to take their pictures with us. We love this tradition. It is such a great way to start a holiday that you consume more calories than you should. Happy Thanksgiving to all, we love you and are grateful for all you do for our family.

Candy, Candy, Candy
After trick or treating it's a tradition in our family to spread out all your candy
and lie down in it.
Aiya was excited to start this tradition.
I hope that Mckenlie is never too old for this tradition.
Bennett is always willing to lay in a pile of candy.
Especially when he can eat some of it.
Carter and his new love-suckers!
Trick or Treat!
We love trick or treating. The weather was so nice! I don't ever remember not having to wear a coat and gloves for trick or treating. Not this year! Even though it rained a little, it was very warm.
Bennett and Carter enjoyed a ride from mom and dad!
We trick or treated at Jennifers house with Mckenlie, Beckham and Aiya.
Carter loves Halloween!
Happy Halloween
Stephanie and Jake's Halloween Party
Aunt Stephie and Uncle Jake had a Halloween party. I was great. This year we all went as the Backyardigans. I am Tasha, Bennett is Austin, and Carter is Tyrone. Aren't we cute?
Grandma Christy (P.E. teacher) helped Carter decorate his cookie. And then Carter put it on his head. It was a great party!

Halloween Carnival
Tonight we went to our wards Halloween carnival. I was fun and there were tons of kids there for Bennett to play with. His costume didn't last long enough to get a picture (it was to hot). We had dinner (Bennett ate chocolate pudding and three very soft cookies) and then there were carnival games for the kids. Bennett hit the Bishop in the face with a wet sponge. After the games there was a costume parade and trick-or-treating for the kids. Carter pooped out early, so Scott took him home. Bennett and I stayed till the bitter end. It was a lot of fun. Good shot Bennett!
