WELCOME HOME
Scooter come home to very excited little boys. Carter has not stopped finding humor in saying "dad", which he couldn't say before and Bennett just hasn't stopped talking. They are glad to have their dad home.
THE PLANE, THE PLANE!
Last Saturday the boys and I picked up their dad at the Guard base. We didn't expect to be able to go out on the flight line, and I'm so glad we were able to. The boys thought it was so fun to see how big the airplane was and to see dad come out of it. Even though Bennett complained that it was "too windy", it was a happy day for all.

Easter Eggs
Dying Easter Eggs
Bennett and Carter died Easter Eggs at Grandma Jaynann's and Grandpa Jay's this year. Actually I think it was the first year Bennett has ever died Easter Eggs. I know, I'm a horrible mother! Oh, well. Bennett thought it was great fun.
Carter and Aiya
Carter and Aiya were both happy to see the Easter Bunny. For Carter it was the basket of candy he was carrying around with him. For anybody who doesn't know, all you need to do to make friends with Carter is to give him food. He was our first really good Easter Egg hunter. He was throwing candy in his bucket with both hands.
6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Egg hunt was again a huge success. It was cold, but it did not rain until the very end. Perfect timing Mother Nature. For the first time, the Easter bunny visited the festivities and after thinking about it for a long time, Bennett decided he could get close to him. This is Bennett with his friends, Keaton, Kade, Loren and Ari. Fun was had by all.

Farewell Kansas
The day we were leaving, I was upstairs packing up and Uncle Jeff got out his guitar and sang for the kids while they danced. It was a great way to end a great trip. Thanks Jeff, Rachel and girls. We love you!
The Rainforest
At the Topeka Zoo they have a rainforest building that the kids loved to go in. Bennett called this the Pineapple Tree and stood in this position until I would take a picture of him.
RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY
The kids were amazed by the down pour of rain. Mostly, the liked the excuse of standing on the windowsill.
COUSINS IN THE BATH
The cousins thought it was so fun to take baths with their swimsuits on. Well, everyone except Carter. He kept trying to take his off.
WE'RE NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE
We just got back from visiting Jeff, Rachel and the girls in Kansas. We had a great time, and were sad to leave. I have posted a few pictures from our trip, but this is my favorite. Rachel and I had gone into the grocery store and left Jeff with the kids in the car. A couple of the kids had to go potty and this is what we saw as we were coming out of the store. I love the look on Jeff's face. Thanks Uncle Jeff!
