Halloween Carnival

Tonight we went to our wards Halloween carnival. I was fun and there were tons of kids there for Bennett to play with. His costume didn't last long enough to get a picture (it was to hot). We had dinner (Bennett ate chocolate pudding and three very soft cookies) and then there were carnival games for the kids. Bennett hit the Bishop in the face with a wet sponge. After the games there was a costume parade and trick-or-treating for the kids. Carter pooped out early, so Scott took him home. Bennett and I stayed till the bitter end. It was a lot of fun. Good shot Bennett!

Feeling Better

Bennett is obviously feeling better. Thank you to everyone who helped in this journey. He went back to school yesterday and had fun with his friends. I loved seeing him be able to be a normal 3 year old again. He is such a good sport about his diet (or lack off). Yesterday he ate 10 chocolate puddings, 6 go-gurts, 2 Dora drinks (yogurt drinks) and a bowl of refried beans. It kind of sounds like an Eric Carle book. Maybe I should write a book about it in my spare time. Probably not. He is excited about Halloween and can't wait until next year, so he can be Spiderman or a Power Ranger. He hasn't decided yet.

Lighting of the Pumpkins

We called all the kids upstairs for the lighting of the pumpkins. Bennett was so excited. He was saying, "we're going to have a pumpkin show." When we lit them Bennett wanted to know what the pumpkins we're going to do. I told them they were going to glow. He then told me he wanted to go back down stairs. I guess he thought they were going to come to life and dance.

Annual Pumpkin Carving

It was another successful pumpkin carving party. Bennett's pumpkin is green with a scary pac man and Carter's of course has a kitty cat. I carved the pumpkins while Scott and the kids played.

Tyrone, there you are!

Here's a better picture of Carter. He really loved playing in the leaves.

Boo at the Zoo

Today we went to Boo at the Zoo. It was crazy crowded! Once we got in it wasn't so bad. The kids were so cute in their Backyardigans costumes (thank you Nana). Bennett's favorite thing was the monkeys and I'm pretty sure that Carters favorite was the ice cream cone!
