Ouch!

At breakfast one morning, Ava reached over and grabbed Carter's face. In return, Carter did the same thing to Ava but somehow managed to poke her in the eye. She was so sad all morning. We took her to the InstaCare, fearing that she was going to be blind.

The used a special dye and a black light to see where and how bad the damage was. You can see in the picture the scratch went from the top, all the way to the bottom right across her line of vision.

Diagnosis: Corneal Abrasion
The good thing is that eyes healing quickly. We had to keep an antibiotic ointment in her eye throughout the day and by the next morning it was good as new. Phew!

As the dye was being washed out by her tears it ran out her nose as well.
